Beryl Beaupre
- Biography
Creating is the purpose in my life,
I have found
a growing passion for the combination of computer and my artistic
abilities. My
last serious study as an artist was the animation program at OUC
University . I have
completed the 2D and 3D animation in 2003. In my early years the challenge of faces and figures
was my primary focus.
During my teens and early 20’s, the financial rewards for commissioned
work and aboriginal subjects of the Northern Manitoba area were provided from
the community, my grandfather’s fur store "Rodger's Furs" in
The Pas, and Daphne Beavon or
“ODJIG’s” than former gallery, (The Wah-sa Gallery),in
Winnipeg, Manitoba. My first
oil painting when was done at 13, During my thirties I finally managed to pursue a BFA
in Fine Arts and continued to paint and create. Since 1998 I have
been using the computer to further my interests in enhancing my
expression as an artist and my marketable talents.
My latest
endeavours are a CD
cover for an alien themed CD as seen on the home page.
My
other play time is rebuilding and working on my web site
,
weaving sashes on an inkle
loom ,
setting up a new studio space in
vicinity of the Vernon and district Métis office ,
being the interm secretary for
the Vernon Métis association and sitting in the office on Saturdays
baking bannock. teaching how to do a basic loom
weaving of sashes in the schools ,
