1993 golf ball painting venture

Looks like I'm back at producing hand-painted and customized golfballs again as of May, 2003.... I only quit for  about 8 years. Golf balls, or golf collectors items, these unique golf gift items are available as whole sale golf gifts through Beryl's Original Charms a small home base business by Vernon artist Beryl Beaupre These hand-painted golf gifts are packaged in groups of one, two or three, and in a variety of packages; clear plastic, sometimes baskets of one or two and tied with a beautiful ribbon. NOW they also come in single plastic pyamids as well. sized for a single ball! These back breaking, eye straining, miniature paintings make very unique gifts for the golfer or  the golf ball collector. Many different types of balls are used ;titleist, top/flight, maxfli, ultra, just to name a few. all kinds of spalding, wilson and you never know what you'll get, because I don't golf and they are just canvasses to me. It's a treasure hunt. This small home based business first started out with Lyn Karr in Grande Prairie, Alberta about 1984. At that time, I had worked for Fairway Fantasies, which is what Lyn Karr named the business. In the beginning, we only used new balls from Spalding, and all the balls were all the same, usurally Top/flight or Top-flight. After the first two years of  working for Lyn  I talked about moving  and I became an unreliable asset. Later Ken and Bernice Fox bought the business , who in turn  also sold it, but ,after I  really did move to Smithers. During those three years I was the main painter. I must have painted over 32,000 balls. There are many designs, all of these personalized golf gifts are  one of a kind, animals, flowers, personalized, logos, ect... The golf balls were designed to be used, as the paint is meant to stay on. It was specially formulated to with stand a good whack from the golf clubs.

Now I paint what ever I like and as big or small as I like, not to mention get as complicated  as I like .

I do have better ideas for them though. HAND and FOOT MASSAGERS since I'm into reflexology or just plain  golf ball  collectibles . I've tried to sign most of the balls with three little dots :.  Some I have really only done one or two of. Special orders $20.00 per ball
