This is a conglomeration of my Métis
aboriginal somewhat influenced thoughts and
ideas on exploring the many ways of healing; "the wolfpie". I have
descended from a long line of Métis medicine women that lived in Manitoba, Canada.
Not to mention king Arthur and a whole lot of Irish kings and royals. These Métis women were the ones
who did the healing with herbs and delivered the babies. They stayed at
home to make money to survive by doing what ever they were good at.
I remember my great grand mother making money at home by hooking
rugs . The healing medium of art is visually inspired by a series of wolf dreams .Whatever the reason the wolves appeared in my dreams . It lead me to pay more attention to my dream life and interpretation . Something was nagging at me so I painted them .
This wolf material is just the healing sauce in the great pie of life.
This wolf pie must be devoured at
your leisure. In it you will get a taste of wolf dream paintings, limited
edition wolf art prints and a variety of my creative endeavours. Not all
were influenced by the wolf or my aboriginal Métis heritage.
Many others have shared with me their wolf dreams. |

This is what I
thought ten years ago ..........."The "bitch" appeared in my dreams to
guide me to the truth, giving me the courage to love myself and get the
healing that I needed. "I was uncertain and thought that I was being the
bitch and it was just about me . Notes April 15 /2010 Now I am certain it wasn't so much about me at all , but the spirit of a young aboriginal or first nations woman. I painted over the chained wolf picture and there it was again a gruesome picture of a young aboriginal woman in some bush. I hadn't thought about it for a long time and than pow it hits me again upon first looking at this painting in the morning. I am getting a better picture of why the wolves were there in my dreams.

I am also learning to finger weave a flamboyant sash and make my own drum from scratch. I will add those pages as I progress on my Métis learning.
